Default Jap 6MT into MY94WRX, what diff, I'm confused?

I am going to be fitting a Jap 6MT into my MY94WRX after the 5 speed went bang the other night. My car has a 4.11 rear diff. Will this work with the Jap 6MT box?

nope, you need a 3.9 rear.

the only 3.9 r160 you will find was on the sport and has no lsd.. so you will have to get the cwp from the sport diff and fit it to the turbo diff with the lsd..

Preload etc will need checking / shimming

Thanks David, just been offered the diff out of a UK300, but I don't think they are a 3.9, and from what you have just said....
