I have a whining noise similar to that of a supercharger, when i accelerate hard in 1st or 2nd. It goes when i depress the clutch back in and the revs die right down. Reading some other threads on this problem, i think it could be the thrust bearing. If this is so, is it a big job and how much do you think it would cost to repair? Thanks (1994 WRX)
