Default Exhaust Gaskets

Ive just fitted a Nur Spec backbox and centre and on startup i noticed that the exhaust is blowing at the flange that bolts to the downpipe,is there a standard size gasket for this flange and is it available in metal and also if its only available from a main dealer is there a part number ? or is it ok to blobby it up with exhaust paste/intant gasket?

Thanks in advance

Is this the standard 'spring' joint? In which case it should have a 'half doughnut' type gasket in it. Check that the springs are intact and the bolts are done up fully. After that, try any local tyre/exhaust place to fix it. If you're lucky they'll sort it out for gratis.

If its a flange fit like your HKS go to a reputable exhaust fitter and get them to match up the gaskets - thats what I did when I fitted the HKS

Cheers
