Default new sti or p1

im selling my 98 sti to buy new sti or p1.
i took a new sti out for a test drive today and liked it apart from the rock hard ride, and im going to take a p1 out the weekend.
The only problem is what ever i buy has got to have warranty. it going to be hard to find a p1 with subaru warranty.
whats best out of the two

Which one is best is subjective, what suits one person may not suit another. I'd always wanted a P1 but when I saw it in the showroom next to a new STI it just looked dated. If you buy from a dealer you'll certainly get some kind of warranty with it. The P1 is definitely a great car and if you find a good example I'm sure you'd enjoy the ownership but for me the STI is the preferred choice. Which is what I did!! Dealer prices seem too high for P1's for a 3-4 yr old car when for a couple of grand more you can have a brand new motor.

I'd go P1 any day, thing is if you disliked the hard ride of the new one, the P1 is a harder edged, more raw car.

most people agree - the crazy rock hard ride needs addressing - this can be done by aftermarket cos without upsetting the main parts of mauf warranty (so i am told)
