Scary Knocklink moment(s)
Had car out for the first decent run since fitting Knocklink,on the m/way when cruising at 75 floor it and wholly f*ck all lights up within a split second, done it few times .When i first fitted it i tested around local roads ,it seemed fine giving it WOT thro the gears ,2 greens max.,the cars sat in my garage for the last week 'til tonights run. Put £20 optimax and a 1/3 tin Pro boost in before run.
What are the first things to check for.
cheers Colin (95 WRX,de cat Magnex from front cat back, K&N panel, Turbo XS blow off valve)

Do you have a boost guage fitted, do you know what boost you are hitting? I would imagine it is likley spiking quite high at the point the KL is lighting.

Tried to catch it mate but too busy gawping at the Knocklink and Afr (and the road!)
Possibly split a pipe or not refitted something tightly enough after disturbing i/c,turbo pipe or dump valve when fitting sensor last week,l have only driven it around the doors, till tonight, to see if it showed any activity .
MAF would show up with a rough idle...correct?
thanks Colin

An air leak after turbo can cause the problem, as turbo (and boost control system) works harder to make target, raising intake temps and likelyhood of det. This can be particularly bad with a decent boost controller like the AVC-R, which can compensate very quickly.
I'm not saying this is your problem Colin, best is to get det cans on it to confirm the KL readings ASAP.
