Smile Backboxes

Thinking of changing my backbox from Firestorm to something quieter (due to iminent arrival of small person) is it as simple as unbolting said firestorm and bolting on new backbox. I have a TSL decat system at the moment.

May sound a stupid question but I am a bit of a numptie.

The back box can be removed easily. Remove the two nuts & bolts from the back box where it joins the centre section pipe. Pull away the two rubber mounts from the rear box hangers & it should come off easily then. Re-fitting just the same in the opposite order, oh and use a new gasket from the centre section to back box.

I had a TSL de-cat centre and Firestorm BB. I sold the Firestorm and bought a Scoobysport BB. Yes it defo fits a TSL centre and is a lot quieter. If you want a really quiet one i would think about buying a group N
