Maybe David Wallis can tell you, he has one that looks like an elephants foot, somehow wedged in his bonnet, attached to a turbo the size of a power station turbine!

Search for his old thread - new engine and drivetrain ..... for pics and info!

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

LOL...

My airfilter...

Is the largest off the shelf K&N available.. uses mark@lateral's inlet trumpets..

However my turbo inlet pipe is 100mm / 4" dia.

Mark does various filters some of which are proven to circa 600bhp..

excellent prices too, his number is 020 8420 5444

woa! a bit beefy ain't they?!

david
you mention your turbo inlet pipe is 4 inch in diameter, there's no way i'd get that size without fitting the manifold spacers, so what is the largest size of pipe that can be used without fitting them and does mark do these also(with or without spacers fitted)?
