Default Clutch is "clicking"

...anybody got any ideas what would be causing my clutch to occasionally "click" when i press the pedal to the floor. The noise is coming from the engine bay not the footwell. It happens intermitentely and usually in 1st. If i pump the clutch it goes.

many thanks.

Are you certain it's coming from the engine bay? Mine (MY00) does it every now and then, but it's from the top of the clutch pedal. It does it about 2 inches down the pedal travel, in gear or out. I think it's something to do with slight lateral movement. But it doesn't do it often enough for me to do anything about it...!

Yes mine was the same as The Judge, still does it now & again. I think there is an inexpensive cure for it though, but I cant be arsed to bother.

Neil.

Thanks for your replies.
Mine is a MY00 Classic. I was just concerned it might be something more serious as its only just started clicking....but only occasionally. It's just annoying.
I had a word with Knowlesy at Xtreme and they will take a look at it next time i'm in....something to do with a little Y shaped clip or something...nothing to worry about.
