Default Another "Which exhaust" question!

Hi all

Just sitting here planning my first set of mods and wondered what the informed view is on the following.

I want to replace the exhaust and get a remap but keep emissions legal and I do not want to increase noise too much, so:

Am i better to get a sports cat centre and a non catted down pipe
OR
Get a sports cat d/p and resonated de-catted centre.

Any ideas/advice?

Thanks

Jonathan

HOLD ON A MINUTE: Wait & get out to a few meets & see what other people have done. That way you'll see many different systems & get owners views.

...that's good advice.

...then you will discover that there's nothing quite like an Afterburner Vortex

Thanks guys. You are of course right, I do need to get out to a meet and see (and hear) what others are doing.

Just wondered if their were any technical reasons why it would be better to have a sports cat in the d/p or centre.

Cheers

Jonathan
