No, its easy on the trans, trick is to generate a (little) wheelspin to ease the impact of 5000 rpm and dump the clutch........
Rob's RA was a bit nice eh?

You should have tried to keep-up with it! Talk about effective mods.
He barely changed anything except the gearbox swop when it finally went. If only i had had the ££££££££££££££££££.....

He told me he'd accepted a silly low offer, but then the person changed his mind.

Off the line, slicks will spin - generally from the rear wheels as this is where the majority of the power goes to.

However, in the wet, its not difficult to get all for wheels spininng in 1st and 2nd and its not until into 3rd that things improve.

My last message never made it here....
Without any LSD's i can get wheelspin on my Kumho 1B's but only on the front.
With those big slicks (not super soft rubber) Rob's best start was 2.17 i think at Prescott going for first in class....he had 350 bhp and a 5Kg flywheel.
I can cut 2.07 on 1B's with 314 and 10 kg (stock) flywheel reapeatably in the dry, mush harder to do in the damp, not wet!
It is a very delicate balance...
Good luck!
