Default No longer a virgin to flameage!!

Hi all
When the Doreen came down to lake to pick me up last night (i caught aswell!!) her brother poped down as well in his Audi TT and parked up next to the scoob. As he was looking around he noted on the size of the exhaust (ninja) and then i demonstrated the noise it makes and reved it up a couple of times, when a flame like an after burner spat out the back and nearly turned him into a ball of flames!! My cherry has now popped!
All this was carried out infront of the Peatmoor Crew, in their metros, escorts, novas etc.

BUT.
Why/how does a flame develop in the exhaust system? I think is to do with un-burnt fuel but how does it get there in the first place?

Thanks all

Johnny

Probably not give you more - but your Induction kit/full decat and VTA are a sure sign why you will be getting flames and no doubt plenty of popping ?
