I've got a classic with a td04 and a firestorm, but in a week i'm getting the TD05 FE fitted, is it gonna get much louder, i'm happy with current levels but if its going to get significantly louder than i'll have to put my old H&S back on, anyone done this upgrade with a firestorm already in place or have any views?

I ask as i've just cleaned up my old H&S and put it up for sale, perhaps it might be worth keeping hold of it for a week or so longer just in case.

I got 116db with the td04 and the firestorm at the last RR which was ok by me

BTW, its 2.5" piping all the way

Not too sure about the Firestorm, but when i changed my TD04, to the VF30, with a Nur Spec R, there was no change in noise level at all.

Not exactly what you were after but it may help.

I went from a TD04 to a FE TD05 and there was no change in noise from my magnex 6X4 oval full de-cat.

Plenty more noise from the trouser region though as it packs a bigger & longer punch

Scoobysport BB+DP, change for VF23 nad car is onboost louder offboost not but more bass, like loudness switch on
