Strange feel when full turned on steering wheel
First of all I hope that I can explain in English what it is that 'im looking for in this post ;-)
I resently noticed that when I turn me steering wheel fully to the left I get a strange feeling in the car, like something is jumping a little bit. I only feel it in low speed (5-20 km/hour) and there is nothing when I go straight.
When I turn fully to the right it's still there, but not nearly as rough as when I turn to the left. It's not like the car is jumping up and down or anything, but it does'nt feel like it's going smooth.
Should this normally be a totally smooth procedure? I just noticed this the other day and since I have no problems in going straight or turning normally I don't know if it is a problem or if it has been there for the three years I have owned the car (99 Impreza GT).
I tried to take the car up on a lift to see if I could feel anything when there is no load on the driveshafts, but can't feel anything.
Have anybody tried this and is this normal?

Do you have the DCCD controller at all (Adjustable centre diff)?
Is it set fully back?
If you dont have it sounds like a differential problem.
But I could be wrong!

No adjustable centre diff, so that's not the problem.
I was thinking about the front diff, but I wan't to be sure before I turn it over to the Subaru dealer and let him take off the gearbox, since that is quite expensive!
The strange thing is that there is absolulely nothing when only turning 1/2 off full steering or when going straight. Also I can't feel it when going fast.
Is problems with the diff normal? And would it feel like this?
Thanks
