Hi, everybody has anyone got any advice, normal gear changes are not a problem, at speed any "brisk" changes appear to be resulting in a slight crunching or difficulty in engaging gears third to fourth if i labour the change there does not appear to be a problem ?

Mines exactly the same. Been like it for a while and getting worse and worse. Happens in all gears changing up and down now. Something to do with synchros im told. Gear box rebuild when I can afford it!

Try putting Castrol Syntrax gear oil in-it will probably make a noticable
difference-it did on my old MY98 when i had the same probs,and it cured it!

You can get it at most Halfords stores.
