Exclamation Magnex down pipe problem

Hi all
Went to fit my down pipe todat that i brought second hand (thanks again scooby pete) and was told at the garage that my 1993 doesnt have a lambda sensor on the pipe hence a hole where it goes needing to be plugged!!
Where can i get something to plug this with? I went to halfords and they dont have anything. Really wanted it fitted this weekend
Anyone know a quick fix?

Thanks

Johnny

Had exactly the same on mine a couple of weeks ago.

First I plugged the gap with a Pinto Spark plug (Halfords £2.99).

Then I bought a universal Lambda sensor from halfords (L300) for £25. Have now wired this into my home made AFR.

How did you do that? Was the plug going into the pipe or did you brake it off?
If i done that and then fitted the pipe, how easy is it to get to to put a sensor in or a proper plug/screw?

Sorry for the confusion - I didn't use both!

Either the spark plug or the universal sensor will fit straight in.
