Question Sti RA DCCD trans into an Sti V3? Easy???

How easy is it to fit an Sti RA trans with DCCD into my Sti v3 which does not have it in the first place?
It is the wiring side that concerns me and how to disable(electrically) the ABS.
Ideas, comments etc please!

ABS should be okay if the diff lock is in a mostly open position, mostly.

I suspect you may get DCCD/ABS interaction issues if you dial in lot of diff lock.

For tarmac hillclimbs and suchlike, I suspect you would mostly wish to run with the diff open, mostly.

Thanks for the info. Is the loom side of such a conversion tricky? Is it just the loom/knurled 'switch' on the transmission cover to fit or do you need to breal into the main loom of the car itself?
Can't you simply pull the fuse David to disable the abs?

You can pull the fuse, or even wire up a switch!

Get rid of the ABS anyway, Scoobys are better raw

My ABS seems very crude anyway, and on the odd times it thinks to kick-in the light on the dash stays on for ever! Crude is best.....i used to hillclimb a 1973 911..........now that is crude.
