Talking swapping my engine probs.

hello all,I am fitting an v5 sti engine into a uk spec car MY2000 .
how much of the wiring loom will i have to change to get the engine to run ok ??
and yes, i am going to change the ecu.and g.box!

Cam and crank position sensors wires will have to be transposed - 5 minute job.

You will need to link up the inlet temperature sensor, you could probably do this with a separate little loom to the ECU.

Can't think of any other differences, there may be some though.

Other option is to use your original ECU and reprogram it to suit the STi engine.

thanks v.much for that John,how would i go about reprogramming the original ecu if i went down that route?

Still interested in the STi 5 ecu?

I still need a uk turbo ecu.

Do you have the engine complete with a turbo?
I have the VF28 if you require.

The STi engine/heads can rev upto 8250.

It will be blood y good once its done.
