On my long haul to about 320hp my exisitng TMIC is pretty much knackered so following on from this thread

The only difference is that it's got a SSQV take of valve rather than the original DV. I know to get the '00 I/C to fit '97 I need the Hayward & Scott adapter but with an appropriate pipe reducer / enlarger can I use the SSQV take off rather than the Hayward & Scott type and save myself £80?

Any views guys?

when I upgraded the dump valve arm fouled on the throttle sensor (maybe?) , I had to have the arm cut off and welded shut, the dump valve then moves onto the pipe to the left with a little adaption.

not sure what the H&S adator does, if you find out more please post it here for my piece of mind.

I've now discovered the SSQV valve can't be used so i've ordered the H&S adapter but it will take about 2 weeks. When it comes i'll try to post some photos on here.

I`m in the middle of doing the same thing.
MY00 tmic onto MY98.

Think i`ll call H&S in the morning and order an adaptor.

My adaptor is suppsoed to arrive today, so hopefully i can fit my SSQV.
