I'd recommend changing the gasket...only a few quid at most from a dealer.
And original bolts should be just fine..unless the new pipe comes with some.

Thanks Johnny 50 but I fitted a H&S decat downpipe to an afterburner decat centre pipe and the gasket didn't fit that well between the two pipes, well didn't fit as well as the original downpipe and the decat centre anyway.
You are right about buying a new one but I am talking about the shape of the gasklet more than anything.

If you use a standard Subaru gasket, you are likely to find it will need trimming on its inside to allow optimal flow between the turbo and the downpipe.
No big deal, just use a Dremel. With a bit of luck though, your new downpipe will be supplied with a correctly dimensioned gasket.

Thanks GM,
I was thinking as much. Do you think this will make much of a difference. I would nearly rather buy a new one as I didn't receive any with the H&S downpipe. Should they be able to supply me with one that will fit exactly as you have described and if not where do you think I will get one.

Probably a good idea to get a new one. I'm not sure if you'd be able to get a correct one off the shelf, especially not from a Subaru dealer.
TBH most of the gaskets I've seen for any car are a touch oversized on their inside, and could benefit from a little trim, so in practice I think you're going to have to be prepared to trim it yourself.
It shouldn't make a big difference, but, at tend of day, there are small gains to be made from making sure the gasflow from the turbo into the downpipe is as clean as possible. That's why you've got an open neck downpipe after all!

Just to make sure I was talking about the gasket betweeen the downpipe and the centre section. I fitted a new gasket between the turbo and downpipe.
