gear selector problem after fitting a DCCD

gear selector problem after fitting a DCCD
Hi all
the car is a phase 2 (my99) and i had to install the DCCD with a phase 1 extension housing,shaft selector and barrel selector (the alloy cylinder on the left side of the housing that prevent to down shift from 5 th to reverse).
when i shift down from 5th to 4 th,i can't.i must swing the **** from left to right during 3 or 4 second before engaging the 4 th.
but when the car is stoped and the engine cuted,there is no problem.i can down shift easily.
can somebody help me?
