if you can- might be worth emailing AndyF ( andyf6000@hotmail.com ) as he is in your neck of the woods -ie:scotland, and he knows plenty about the Apexi unit.. an the Apexi ECu's..
I dont know of any official Apexi dealers up there.. good luck.

hope that helps you out mate..

You will have to leave the original solenoid valve connected otherwise the check engine light will come on.

The hoses are obviously disconnected from it would recommend taping the holes on the solenoid up to prevent dirt building up in there.

I've actually left my hoses on and in place, just in case I need to remove the AVC-R

When the AVC-R is in "OFF" mode, the boost you get is controlled by the wastegate actuator only, which is around .5 bar. The AVC-R normally bleeds air off the wastegate actuator (hose) to fool it into thinking there is less boost, and therefore it open less and turbo boost increases.

Let me know if you have any problems fitting it

Leave the factory solenoid and transfer the existing pipework to the AVCR solenoid as that works better than the lerger bore pipe that is supplied.

I agree, But the original pipework wasn't a straight fit on my '94, I had to play around a bit with a couple of adapters.
