"OLD' Prodrive/Scorpion back box on new age cars?
As the title says can I fit a pre MY00 Prodrive back box on new age WRX04 without problem as have been told the only difference is the front exhaust hanger that can be canceled in every case?
I ask cause after my full Scoobysport decat exhaust I am really dissapointed from the final noise and want to reduce it (am I old?).

PS:Measured with Delta Dash and before the ECU "read" well the new exhaust the car has 34,5ps/30,5Nm at the wheels, not bad do you think?

You can cut off the pipe bracket. Swapping to the Prodrive silencer may give you a small reduction in noise, but if this isn't enough, fit your rear centre section back. This will make a big difference.
The gains you got are very impressive. The extra at the flywheel would be approx 1.28x these figures.

Sorry Pete but it's really loud for my linkings and as the Prodrive BB seats on my balcony(!!!) I wonder if worth to fit it or prefer better a new age STI BB that is completely quite!
Which is better performance wise the STI BB with the rest of Scoobysport or fit standard center and old shape Prodrive BB? I believe the second choice has almost the same noise levels as my current setup!
And yes the result with 100Ron fuel and 12C degrees ambient temps is perfect, have in mind the road dyno was only after a ECU reset before it reacts and adjusted itself perfectly so today after 150km it drives really better, I beat a standard STI from 0-140km (end of 3rd gear).
I am really surprised what difference to throttle response your exhaust has, almost 1bar boost at 2450rpms with 4th gear!
Anyone had similar results on WRX04 with your system?

PS: I had a small fitting problem as the EGT probe had different thread to your up pipe.
