popping exhausts......is it dangerous
I currently have a MY00 with a scoobysport backbox...
at the weekend i fitted a collins twin piston dumpvalve, after conversations with *sonic* i found out that the car would run more richer, and i have noticed that sometimes there is a pop from the exhaust which is nice.....
but will it cause any damage?
i was thinking of getting a magnex centre section, i have been told that it will pop and bang more with this on..?? will this pose more of a risk to my car?

The only risk is damaging the calalysts
They don't like any excessive fuel going into them, and if they are burning the fuel in there they may either overheat, or worse - shatter.
I'm not sure if your model has a "cat on fire" sensor - if it does...it'll let you know
So I recommend a decat
