Hi I'm new hear so hello to everyone...


To the point... I've been running a 00sti6 for about 5 months its standard appart from a ecutec ecu and scooby sport straight through system.

I did a couple of runs up the pod on sunday (first time since i got it) and got a 13.9 best run (is this fairly average considering i havent really got the knack of launching these things yet?)

My probelm is the car is making a extra noise now, when i slow down and am just about to stop with my foot on the clutch the car makes a faint da da da da da da sound i think from the gear box. it's a kind of knocking noise like something rotating slowing down.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Are there any known weak points in the drive train of these cars??

I would get your local dealer/specialist to have a look.

Also you should be achieving better than 13.9secs even with a bad launch.
