About £150. You can get the from B R Developmnts. The display and the sensor are ordered as seperate items and you'll need both.

where/how do you fit em?
You bolt the sensor part of it directly to the block, underneath the intercooler usually. The display you mount some place inside the vehicle.

how to they work?
In esscence it's simply a microphone bolted to the engine block that listens for noise coming from the engine. This is reported in the car via a visual bar graph. (5 leds)

how does it tell you if you are detting?
When the engine DETs or Pinks it creates a very distinct noise, it's this noise that the link picks up on.
