Unhappy Broken Pipe (Wastegate Control return hose?)

Basically when TSL did my service they said that the wastegate control return hose was broken and it meant that a small amount of unmetered air was getting into my engine. I was told that to fix it is tricky and would basically require a new airbox. Can anyone tell me where this pipe is so I can check it out and see what the damage is? Is it a case of removing the airbox, and if so how do I get it off?

Thanks in advance, I know I've asked this before, but I had no luck finding anything broken...

What year is the car?
If it's a pre 97 it could be a little pipe under the mine intake pipe on the resonator box(in between the Air box containing the filter and the turbo).

It is very fragile and often gets broken

You can repair it with a short peice of brake pipe glued in place

Poss better than that, i always use a threaded nipple..

Drill out the airbox, thread in nipple (bleed valve nipple is suffice) and push pipe on... Must have done 5/6 last year

Rob

p.s. where abouts in Herts are you? if local to me i will sort it out for you.

Thanks for the help guys - It's a MY95 Wagon. Thanks for the offer rob, I'm in Tring (near Hemel Hempstead) but I'm only in the area for a couple of days every month at the moment so I'll see if I can sort it myself, otherwise I'll get back to you
