The clutch has just started to slip on my 95 UK Turbo, and I'm looking for a replacement. I've seen AP organic mentioned as a good choice, but I'm not sure whether it is available for my car.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks
Matthew

Hi Matthew

Yes mate, it is available for your beast. Not the cheapest but probably one of the best.

Helix are another good alternative. We fit AP, Pete I'm pretty sure is still fitting Helix. Just two accomplished ways of skinning same said cat!

Cheers

Just over 72000, but I haven't had it from new so I don't know whether the clutch has ever been replaced in the past. I do mainly A/B road driving and luckily don't spend too much time in stop/start traffic.

Matthew

I fitted a reconditioned ebc clutch to my MY93 WRX. I fitted it myself and the clutch only cost 120 quid which was a lot different to most prices.

Many may not recommend this but I'm just giving you my opinion, it was fine while I owned the car which was putting out about 250 bhp. It may not be a good option if you are planning big mods, and saying that I didn't thrash my car that much!

Cool

Hi Matthew, just purchased an AP orgnic clutch for MY94 WRX price was £355.95 (inc VAT) from Woodford garage motorsport Tel 01803 864689. Everywhere else was quoting £395 and above for the same kit. But beware this is only a two piece clutch still need to get new bearing or refit old one!! My local garage has quoted £175 for fitting but prices vary.
Standard clutches for impreza's are made by Borg and Beck and are about £350 fitted.
Hope this helps. Dennis
