Hello everybody,

here's my question guys. Which panel filter is best for the Impreza in terms of overall performance? The reason I am asking is because I heard the K&N item allows better airflow but not very good filtration compared to the ITG.

Cheers

Go for the ITG. I trusted the guy who fitted mine.

Thumbs up

Try a Uni Filter, common in Aus and surrounding 'hot' areas, very dusty ove there and these have low resistance but very high filtration levels.

Unhappy

Just come back from taking the car up and down the road with the new K&N fitted.Have to say i`m undecided if it has made a difference or not.Testiment to ITG i`d say

One thing i`m not happy with is the fact that the K&N kit has now moved the MAS closer to the engine, which has placed its electical connector directly below the drain hole for the "air vent" in the bonnet, not good! ......peice of rubber should redirect the water, but come on K&N, should it be necessary for me to have to start fabricating such things?

Gonna get out later on for a better run

Defently feels quicker, though is this due to the fact that the ITG filter needed replacing in the first place?(13,000 miles on it) ..... i dunno.
