First of all baby (MY98 RBW) is 3 today!
She had her first MOT this morning and passed with flying colours, some points to note:
1. My car has a full Scoobysport system, I refitted the OEM center and it passed the fast idle and idle tests after 'catalyser conditioning' was performed. I did not take any precautions such as getting the cat really hot or asking for the emissions test to be performed first.
2. The tester said he would not put the car on the brake test rollers, he simply drove the car back and forth (twice) in the workshop to test the brakes!!!
I hope this information will help anyone else who is worried about these 2 aspects of the MOT test.
