I've also got the Super Drager system, only got the cat back on at the moment and I also think it could be a little bit louder. I have the HKS DP to go on if I dare it but then it will probably be too loud. As I do a lot of miles, this could get to be a bit too much.
Still love it as it is though...

Hi,
I presume you mean the HKS Hiper Muffler?
I've got one and it's very loud. Used to have a magnex system and this is lots louder and not as boggy at the top end. Found the magnex pretty good low down, but the car seemed to run out of puff. No such trouble with the HKS.
The Hiper is very similar to the Super Drager, but it doesn't follow the same shape as the standard (and other systems) and it comes out at an angle at the back. The idea is that it tries to be almost a straight pipe (as much as possible) to give max top end power. The Super Drager is JASMA noise certified, the Hiper isn't so it is supposedly louder than the S-D. Think Graham Goode's website (amongst others) has full details/pics etc.
I'm only in Heywood too if you fancy popping up and having a nosey/listen.
Cheers
Rich

In my experience went from
Standard system TO
Magnex BB TO
Magnex BB & centre TO
Magnex BB, Centre and downpipe TO
Same downpipe, HKS Hiper
Magnex bb made decent difference, centre made none, dowpipe made BIG difference, lots more turbo noise (hissing) and more aggressive growl on full chat. HKS just made it offensive!!

HKS down pipe is on my system, makes its louder & deeper, I dont have a problem with this but when the wife drives it she does not like it, says she gets too much attention.
I'm considering swapping it for the BPM Twin dump down pipe as I have been told its better than the HKS down pipe, but twice the cost

Got a full hks decat super drager system from turbo back!! It's the dogs- pops and bangs like a good un on the overrun from 1-2 and 2-3!! Only problem is it's a bit droney? ( is that how u spell it?? ) on motorway runs so I have to turn the stereo up!! I'll be at nm6 if you want a listen! Dump the cat- you won't regret it!
