Default Boost Solenoid Cleaning Query

Hello All

I have a 94WRX and recently overfilled the oil

I have heard that this can cause oil to go into the boost solenoid and that I should clean it..

What is best way to clean it?

If it is dirty/contaminated what problems can this cause???

Mine has 3 pipes coming out of it, is this a 3 port then??

Any advice would be great

Cheers

Rob

Trebor69,

done mine a while ago now, best to take off all the pipes and flush them through with brake cleaner and make sure the pipes a dry befoure re-fitting them, once re-fitted do an E.C.U re-set...

oil over fill can cause over boost type symptoms..
