Arghhh - I thought uk & import exhausts were the same fitment?

I've got a 93 wrx that came from Japan with a very large backbox fitted already. This has now split in two places and my mot is due so I bought a scoobysport backbox. It turned up today but the joint for it looks different. The one thats on joins just as it leaves the back box and again between the resonator and the centre cat, the scoobysport one joins about 2 feet after the box I didn't bother asking about different fittings as it states on the website that the backbox fits uk/wrx/22b 92-00.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I'll give scoobysport a ring tommorow but my mot is due Monday and even if there is an extra bit I need it wouldn't get here in time

Don't blame Scoobysport's backbox, it will fit all STANDARD exhausts as quoted, its just that yours is a japanese aftermarket one that is not. If you can beg/borrow/"steal" a standard UK or Japanese spec centre section then you will be able to use it in time.

Bob - I'm not blaming the scoobysport backbox, I just didn't realise that the jap after market exhausts were different.
Moz, that would be fantastic, I've sent you an e-mail with my mobile number. I've changed my MOT from Monday until next Sat afternoon so let me know where and when, cheers.
