As subject really. Fitted this afternoon using Chiark's *superb* guide. However, despite trying to angle it to keep the MAF wiring away from the coolant reservoir and the cone in a good position, it seems to sit slightly high so that a small area of the cone is in contact with the underside of the bonnet - it this OK? Seems to be going incredibly well - but oh what a noise under load !!!! Goes very well with PPP and no overboost problems. It really pulls very hard now - or should I say sucks very hard now???!!?

John,
I fitted mine a fortnight ago. Just checking what you meant by the mounting brace from the cooling reservoir...
The L shaped mount should have the longer part coming from the reservoir to the induction pipe, with the bit on the induction pipe end pointing down.
Mine doesn't touch the bonnet, but can rattle against inner wing fittings on start-up and ignition off. I'll be adjusting it this weekend.
Regards,
Squizz.
(And again, Respec' to Chiark for his instructions!)

wondering if it might be the bracket from the coolant reservoir - it is attached underneath as in the diagrams, but I am wondering if the long edge should be vertical to bring the whole thing down about 1 cm?
