Question

On the left hand side of my 94 WRX bonnet scoop, a section leads to the top of the turbo inlet (For ramair?). On the underside of the bonnet there is a metal baffle or restrictor that marries up with the turbo inlet.

Can this be safely removed, or replaced by an aftermarket product to allow a greater flow of air into the turbo? Thus increasing the Ramair effect, and hence power, response etc etc..

My spanners are at the ready, or should I put them back in the box?

Al
Put them back in the box , the inlet next to the scoop allows cool air to pass over the turbo. As you can imagine the turbo will get very hot. The scoop just direct air flow over the turbo to help in the cooling.

Cheers
