After just paying out a large sum of dough for an RB5 I have been offered a '98 WRX import (320 BHP).
Have i done the right thing keeping to a standard UK car, or should i have gone the import route??

Like you I have recently bought an RB5, and I was faced with the same question. The WRX was also cheaper!

But I wanted the Subaru warranty and the knowledge of knowing I bought a car which is easy to re-sell. A jap motor can be more complicated to get rid off and I didn't want the hassle.

My RB5 has had the PPP treatment and a few exhaust mods, sounds lovely and looking at around the 265bhp mark, which to be fair is plenty. (but more is obviously nice!)

Are you happy with your car? ? ?

If so, put yourself out of your misery, forget and enjoy!

Happy motoring!
