Hi All,

First "new posting" so here goes.

My MY00 wagon has SS DP, Standard Mid Section and a Long Life BB (quieter than Magnex)with ITG filter. When I floor it and go to change up at just over 6k RPM, the engine feels as if is has stalled for a nano second before picking up again. It is like dumping the clutch without having sufficient revs in????? Secondly, I would say that 50% of hard acceleration is held back and the garage diagnosed some "retarding and premature detonation" (ahem, that's detonation). Thirdly, I now have a metallic rattle at the bottom of my SS DP just before the mid section that sounds like there's an old half penny in there????? I've tried different fuels - all Super Unleaded and am even adding Millers which seems to help with smoother running etc. Clutch gets taken out next week (14K miles) in the hope of a replacement under warranty (1yr European) that is.

So questions, Have I got a "PUP" and would a unichip solve the retarding/ Premature etcs

Other than these "minor" probs, I love it!
