Bit of a silly topic i know but i really fancy being able to produce these. Don`t mention baked beans!
I have a sti v5 3 inch ss system from the turbo, no cats and using millers octane plus with sul. I get a very occasional pop when changing gear and a few at about 1500rpm on the over-run. So please tell me what needs to be done to get them? Keith.

I had one on the motorway on the way to Bedford yesterday!
There was a Ford Focus driving right up my **** - feathered the throttle just so - big burp from car - Focus is suddenly 30 yards back and then changes lane
Can be programmed if you have a Link, Motec etc.
Cheers,
Trout

A vent to atmosphere dump valve will help with 'flames-out-the-back'.......but this is a bad thing (you're fooling the ecu into making the mixture rich).
Wouldn't like to be your turbo blades if/when one of the explosions occurs in their region....assuming this can happen?

Wasn't there another Bad Idea (TM) with a sparkplug in the tailpipe?
Seriously, you need lots of heat, and unused fuel.
As in a monster engine running way rich to avoid detting, and a red hot turbo/downpipe.
