After reading Sam is pushing 1.3-1.4 bar of boost I too have become greedy and changed my boost profile to 1.3 max.
Marginally increased fuel and reduced ignition parameters accordingly.
Through the gears no problem , but when foot hard down in fifth and climbing in revs and boost , hit what appeared to be a cut off of some sort. No knocks recorded though.
Is this a function of 3M.LIM? Currently set @ 230 .

hi rob
the reason i am running that much boost is because of FMIC. before i was only running up to 1.3 bar.

plus what are you talking about you are running 1.3 bar 230Kpa i have seem your map remember

preintercooler i was running 230Kpa NOW i am running 235Kpa any more although there is not det, it is probably not safe enough.

hell i don't even think it is safe for me with this. but i have got money aside for that. although it is not detting and the map is almost perfect. the accelerated wear and tear will be big. keep that in mind before you do any thing.

so

wear and tear
inlet temps

if you are happy do it, but it is at your own risk. it is still an unexplored territory

Rob,

the Link does have a boost cut. It is severe on the newer chips, when I first discovered it I was shocked!

It is set using MAP LIMIT - and applies a fuel cut to protect the engine.

Cheers,
