My defi's are showing a peak boost of 1.47 bar...but holds 1.3 bar on full chat in 5th.

 

What turbo? Any fuel cuts? Adequate fueling? Safe EGTs? Any knocklink activity...?

 

As stated above, what car, any mods, do you have a knocklink fitted etc.
If the car is standard then id be worrying alot

tek 3 remap...and very soon a knocklink

 

Was the Tek3 done before the exhaust or after? Was it overboosting before the remap, or has it only just started? Is there a manual boost controller? If not, you may need a slightly bigger restrictor in the pipe between your turbo and wastegate actuator. I'd definitely be prioritising the purchase of a knocklink, and soon...

Still dont know what model the car is (wrx, uk or sti?) but hitting just under 1.5 bar doesnt sound good to me

The car is a uk spec 99 turbo..and the car has been mapped to the mods recently
