Had it on my MY00. Came on at 80mph. Offside passenger window was the culprit. Had the seals replaced. All was fine for a couple of months until it came back. Had it in to be checked and it came back worse.

I'm out with the vasaline later...

spoke to subaru yet again and they have finally listened to me ( but not the noise at 140! )and they have rang subaru technical who have said on the early my01 their is a fault with the wing mirror housing and its
letting air inside the housing body causing the loud noise!!!
got to wait 2 weeks now for new modified mirrors to arrive, but it does go to show keep on at em and they will eventually listen and sort it!
but thanx for your help on here lads, Andy what was i supposed to do with the vaseline just out of interest!!!!
