Question

Can anyone advise as to where to find the gear-box oil level plug? Had mine up on a ramp today, dammed if I could find the little critter.

Anyone got a map or manual, describing it's location?

Developed an odd noise this morning and just want to be sure there's plenty of lube in there.

Any feed-back appreciated.

Cheers, Dukey.

Cheers Pete

Did find it this mo'after washing off the bugs! opened bonnet and blow me down, it was staring at me!

My only concern is that there was a few knobules of water on the dipstick top end although the oil does'nt look to emulsified that goodness, think I'll get it changed anyway as a matter of caution.

I think the noise is possibly thrust bearing or first motion shaft bearing, hope not the latter.

regards

Dukey

Cool

SD,

No need 2 pull the plug m8, jus check the xmission dipstick (the 1 @ the LHS of the intercooler when standing @ the front) the fluid should b transparent yellowish an have a slight smell like sulpher. As usual make sure the cars level when u do this

Pete
