Question

A quick yes or no:
Will fitting the Sti (P1) branded rear box in place of the standard one have any noticable effect on:
a) power?
b) torque?
c) noise?

I'm planning on doing it just for the looks (vanity...)

MY97 wagon btw.
Ta.

Simon,
a)none (detectable)
b)none (detectable)
C) slightly deeper, not noisier. Actually I thought LESS boxer sounding.

I had a STi5(P1) decatted mid section on at the same time though, and that probably quietened the car down, due to the larger silencer in the mid section, and the silencer/resonator in place of the cat on a UK centre pipe.

It did look nice though.

I now have a Prodrive PPP back box.

Cheers MTR
