Question

just had a new clutch fitted on my95wrx due to spliping, new clutch slips just as bad! the car is standard and the clutch is a borg&beck. When cold there is no problem, when the car is left for a short period of time as soon as I drive it again it slips horendously, why? is there a leak? if so where? Im going mad because of it. Anyone experienced similar problems? whats the solution? please help!

Thumbs up

This happened on my previous car MY94WRX Wagon, there should be approx 1/3 to 1/2 inch of pedal travel until the clutch mechanism starts to work. There is an adjustment bolt on top of the clutch pedal. Put some slack into the top of the pedal travel to ensure that the clutch is fully released when the pedal is let go.

Hope this helps

Oh, and was the fly wheel skimmed before the new clutch went in?
