MY99 DGM 18000 miles. The other day pulled away hard from a roundabout, and the clutch slipped all the way in 1st so I changed to 2nd gear and it did the same thing. I was driving it hard at the time. Yesterday, driving over to Bisley from Wokingham, not driving hard, clutch smelt bad when slowing down for roundabout's. Also, occasionally, the gear's are not crunching, but not engaging smoothly when changing gear.

Is my clutch knackered? The warranty runs out in February 2002, so if any one thinks that this is a warranty claim, I need to get moving.

Cheers, Chris

Get it looked at asap, it sounds like it's already gone!
Continuing to drive with the clutch slipping can also damage the flywheel too.

Stef.
