Just got a Scooby for the first time....Woohoo!

Anyway dropped it into 3rd to fly past this biker....didn't really want to go into 4th so I went into 5th.

Now finding that the gearbox is not a happy chappy at all. Its sitting out in my driveway sobbing, not wanting to go into anything!!!

Any ideas????

I had the same problem last week. Apparently is a well known Subaru gbox problem. A nut comes loose in the gbox thus missalligning something in there (very scientific analysis eh?) What to do is not to try to engage violently any gears . The gbox must be taken apart new nut+coupling maybe synchro if damaged.
