Still searching for the sought after pops from my95wrx. Bailey dump valve, ss dp, 5ziger system with resonator, no air induction as yet. The car just wont pop what am i missing help greatfully appreciated, am I the only non poping scooby owner around, as I feel like I am!!!

Wot sort of ecu? my car is heavy on petrol at the moment so I dont think fueling is a problem?

 

Get a HKS Hiper Muffler, mate. (like me).

Why want pops & bangs? Does it make your car any faster???

 

change your ecu to a motorsport one.. Motech is u can afford it of GEMS.. that have anti lag as a function and you'll be popping and banging as much as you want at a push of a button.

 

U need an induction kit.

The wifes P1, pops and bangs like a good un, and that with just a backbox change.
You shouldnt have a problem with the mods you have, perhaps just you style of drivin`, when slowing down let it creep in 1st or 2nd and you`ll hear it. No, pops and bangs dont make it faster, but it is bloody good fun and really puts a smile on my face.

Try Texaco Superplus Unleaded, a nice hot engine (and importantly a hot exhaust) foot of gas pedal from say 30mph and creep along in 1st/2nd...that should do it!
