Will I wreck me motta or will I grin for ever

What gains are we talking about here? More induction noise? Quicker spool up times? More Grunt?

What's the fuss all about?

I had an ITG Panel fitted at the same time as my SS BB. I noticed the car was easier to take to the red line and that on full bore up changes there was no dip in power. Previously there had been a slight recovery after changing up. The filter will help breathing.

There will be NO major power increase. No noise increase.

a panel filter will make a difference, I noticed immediately the car did not respond as well after I took my RamAir filter out in response to the advice on the BB for MY99 cars. I am now happy with the ITG filter that I have in now.

Red face

I got an extra 100 BHP and monster torque out of mine

It makes so little difference you probably won't notice, mine sounds a little better, ie slight dump valve noise. I fitted a K&N as I don't think much of induction kits but it is better quality than the original it cleanable and allows a little more air in, which can't do any harm.
