Hi Karlos,

I thought ignition too, maybe dodgy ht lead.
Just had the plugs changed recently and problem has persisted. I'll get my ht leads checked out.

Cheers

Question

I have recently fitted a Blitz induction kit to my car (96uk) and I think it's the bollocks.

Normally my car is garaged and I don't experience any problems. But when the weather is damp and the car is left outside overnight it runs like a bag of Sh1te until I blast it through, then it's fine.

It coughs and splutters and stalls if left idling.

Is it damp getting into the MAF? How can I prevent this if it is?

Please help

cheers

Rich

Rich,

I had a Blitz on my MY96. Never had this problem though. Wouldn't have thought it was to do with the induction kit/MAF sounds more like damp in the ignition... When was your car serviced/plugs changed last? I'm probably wrong though!

Been told a MY96 UK has Coil Packs. And faulty ones can cause surging.
