Question

What would be the effect of fitting a STI TYPE R 75 V4 ECU on a my98 uk turbo. Would there be performance gains & would it be compatible without loads of work, re-mapping etc?

I don't think the wiring plugs even match up. I doubt it would work correctly even if you managed to rewire it as MANY of the other onboard functions of the car go through the ECu not just the engine.
