Question

Help

The rear diff on my 95MY WRX Wagon appears to be locked, both rear wheels turning at same speed. This i very noticable when turning around in my drive. Inside rear wheel is skipping round on the gravel trying to keep up with the outside rear.

Anyone got any ideas

Cool

Try changing the diff oil-use a good quality 75/80 gear oil. Then find a deserted car park & drive in circles, one way then the other. If it is sticking then this is a tried & tested method of freeing them off.If the car has sat for a while, then lack of use has probably caused this.

Make sure you use an oil that's designed for use in an LSD... you have one on the back.
